Founded in April 2021, the six-piece band quickly established itself as a fixture in the local music scene. At its core, the band is a rock combo with clear nods to the past. Upon closer listening, a potpourri of styles and sounds unfolds. With their self-titled follow-up record, Lyca captured what they’ve become: an energetic experience rooted in the spirit of past Rock ’n’ Roll tunes. Channeling acid-soaked hymns of the late ’60s and early’70s and fusing them with Latininfused hip shakers, that set mind and body vibrating. Renowned in the German underground scene, Lyca built a dedicated cult following through their immersive live shows. A space where their music breathes best and truly comes alive.
