ANNA KATARINA
Anna Katarina is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter whose music lives where retro pop meets indie rock, with echoes of country and soul. Hailed by Exclaim! Magazine as “one of Canada’s most exciting emerging artists,” her sound evokes Laurel Canyon warmth and ‘90s FM grit: vintage textures wrapped around hooks and emotionally charged storytelling.
She often draws comparisons to icons like Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, and Jewel, but her voice is unmistakably her own.
She’s taken her live show to international stages, including BreakOut West (Canada), Your Roots Are Showing (Ireland), Sand & Strings Festival (Mexico), and Folk Alliance International (USA), and has shared sold-out stages with Shawn Hook and Said The Whale. A growing European fanbase fuels bi-annual tours across Germany, solidifying her presence on both sides of the Atlantic.
Her sophomore album, While I Was Dreaming (October 3, 2025), captures the quiet transformations that unfold in life’s in-between moments. Its first single, “Riptide,” was highly praised on SiriusXM’s The Spectrum by Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran).
“…her performances have always been the sort of goosebump-raising sonic experience you would imagine in a deep, sublime dream state, gently drawing you out of your slumber.” – Jeff Sawyer, The Nelson Daily.
